◎小平市国際交流協会ってなんですか？ 小平市国際交流協会【Kodaira International Friendship Association (K.I.F.A.)】は、 市民の方たちが中心となって地域における国際交流の推進と、 外国との交流の促進の活動拠点として、平成2年12月26日に設立された市民組織です。 [ What is Kodaira International Friendship Association (K.I.F.A.)? ] K.I.F.A., established in December 1990 as a citizens' organization, promotes international exchange at a grassroots level in the community through exchange with foreign residents and countries abroad. ◎K.I.F.A.はどんなことをしているのですか？ 次の1〜5の活動をしています。 1) 国際理解と国際親善の普及 2) 地域における友好交流 3) 地域や日本文化、外国都市や外国文化の紹介 4) 国際交流情報の収集と地域への提供 5) その他協会の目的達成のために必要な事業 [ What does K.I.F.A. do? ] The association's objectives are: 1) Promotion of international understanding and friendship. 2) Promotion of fellowship in the community. 3) Introduction of local and national culture, and presentation of foreign cities, countries and culture. 4) Accumulation and presentation of international information to the local community. 5) Support of events and activities which further the objectives of the association. ◎どんな人たちが参加しているのですか？ 活動可能な地域に居住している日本人と外国人が参加しています。 協会は理事会 (協会運営の意志決定)、監事 (協会運営の監査)、 評議会 (協会運営の諮問)、ボランティア (事業協力)、賛助会員 (資金協力) の5部門にわかれています。 [ Who are welcome to participate? ] Japanese and foreign residents and people working in Kodaira city. [About KIFA Top] ◎ボランティア募集 　活動内容 1) 各種イベントの企画・実行 2) 日本語会話指導 3) ホームビジット (外国人が日本の家庭を訪問するプログラム) 4) 機関紙などの発行 5) 情報の整理・提供 　応募条件 1) 全てに共通する条件 協会の目的に賛同し、国際交流に理解と熱意がある18歳以上の方 2) ホームビジットに必要な条件 家族全員が受け入れに積極的であること 3) 日本語会話指導に必要な条件・資格 1．日本語教師養成講座で420時間を修了した方 2．大学などで日本語教授法を専攻した方 3．日本語教育能力検定試験に合格した方 　応募手続き 所定の登録申込用紙にご記入の上、事務局にご提出ください。詳しくは事務局までお問い合わせください。 [ Appeals for volunteer ] Main Activities 1) Planning and participating in K.I.F.A.'s events. 2) Teaching Japanese conversation. 3) Hosting foreign residents at home. 4) Planning and editing the K.I.F.A. Newsletter. 5) Reviewing and pressing information. Eligibility for enrollment: 1) Any person aged over 18 who accepts K.I.F.A.'s objectives and has a keen interest in, and understanding of international exchange. 2) Home Visits:All families are selected for their sincere interest and sensitivity to foreign residents and visitors. 3) Japanese conversation instructor:All instructors; or i) Have completed a 420 hour Japanese instructors' course. ii) Are graduates in Japanese Language education. iii) Are experienced in direct method instruction.
